Stephen Haslam
Stephen Haslam is a highly experienced RIBA Chartered Architect with more than 50 years’ experience across the architectural and construction sectors.
With over 30 years at Mitchell Proctor Architects, Stephen brings extensive residential, commercial and industrial expertise from feasibility and concept design through planning, technical design and construction.
His approach combines considered design with a strong practical understanding of construction, helping deliver robust and achievable solutions.

Tim Stubbins
Tim Stubbins is Stephen’s long-standing business partner and brings more than 50 years of architectural and construction industry experience to the practice.
His expertise spans architectural design, planning, technical delivery and the practical requirements of successfully taking projects from initial concept through to completion.
Together, Tim and Stephen provide more than 100 years of combined professional experience and senior architectural knowledge.

Michael Houldsworth
Michael Houldsworth works closely with Mitchell Proctor Architects as Lead Consultant, bringing more than 30 years of professional experience within the architectural and construction industry.
He provides experienced consultancy and project input, collaborating with the architectural team and wider stakeholders throughout project development and delivery.
His knowledge is particularly valuable where projects require careful coordination between design, technical, commercial and construction considerations.

Consultant Quantity Surveyor
Craig Atack AssocRICS
Craig began his career with Mitchell Proctor in 1989, joining directly from school and training with the practice for five years before moving into site-based construction to develop his practical experience.
After more than 30 years working across quantity surveying, estimating, construction and development, Craig has returned to Mitchell Proctor as a Consultant Quantity Surveyor and Associate Member of RICS (AssocRICS).
Craig will take over the practice following the retirement of long-standing partners Stephen Haslam and Tim Stubbins in 2027, continuing the next chapter of a relationship with Mitchell Proctor that began nearly four decades ago.
